Trapped in the Middle of Nowhere, Yesterday by Craig Lamont

It’s funny looking at a map; the world cut off
at both ends. I work in Little Diomede, Alaska three
months a year. Back in Florida, my boy still can’t
find me. “Somewhere in the middle?” he asks. At night
the moon blazes… but I feel forever from the sun.

Craig Lamont was born in Glasgow. He is a student at Strathclyde University and enjoys writing short stories. Reading never used to interest Craig, but he now spends as much time in fiction as in front of the TV.
