Three More by Trent Walters

Someone knocked at Mary’s door. Chimes tinkled. She opened the door without checking the peephole. “Who is it?”

“Merry Christmas.” From behind his back, he hauled a clear crystal chandelier.

“What’s this?”

“A vase. How’s your eyesight?”

“Better.” The apartment's ceiling had space for three more.

Trent Walters educates himself and others. Sometimes he and they learn. His work has appeared in 3 am, pindeldyboz, Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, Fantasy, and others. His poetry chapbook, Learning the Ropes, appeared in 2007 from Morpo Press.
