Nature Walk by Paul Mullin

Mud flecked in wide spurts as my boots clamped down hard on solvent earth, rending the amalgamation in two, three or four. Snow sat in triumphant conquest on shielded tufts, the sun broken en route by budding life twenty-three feet high. Beautiful, but it was my nature to be preoccupied.

Paul Mullin is a freelance newspaper reporter from New Jersey. He is also a proud member of The Broad Set Writing Collective. He hopes that, one day, he will have a full-time job with benefits.
