Cherry Pie by Joan Gilfillan

The guy on the check-out asked if she wanted a hand to pack. She shook her head and gave him her store card.. He swiped it but didn’t ask why she’d bought 27 razors, 5 packs of blades and a jumbo bottle of cherry mouthwash. She didn’t tell him, either.

Joan Gilfillan wrote a children's book for her niece's Christmas. She doesn't think she's read it. Maybe when she tires of Barbie.
